Wren's Background

Wren is a 5th year Hufflepuff and the Captain of the Hufflepuff House Quidditch team, playing the position of chaser. Her favorite classes are Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology, which makes sense since she grew up on a farm with her muggle foster parents. As far as she knows, she is an only child and her foster parents, the Weatherby’s, never had any children.

Wren's best friends are her two dorm mates, Meegan and Lori. Meegan is taller, with short red hair and a very hyper personality. Lori is generally quiet and very rarely emotional, preferring her book-knowledge to Meegan's enthusiasm. Next to Meegan and Lori, Wren is best known for her open-mindedness and tidbits of wisdom. Her ability to see beneath the skin and her tendency to speak her mind with total honesty have earned her friends and enemies alike.

During Wren's fourth year, she got to know Darren Smythe, an older Slytherin boy. Their friendship grew rapidly and they remain close. In addition, Wren would never admit it, but she has found a personal mentor in Professor Sinistra, the astronomy professor. In fact, aside from Meegan, Lori and Evan (another Hufflepuff), Wren seems to prefer the company of Slytherins. When asked about this, she insists that they are easier to understand then Gryffindors and much more interesting than Ravenclaws.

In her 5th year, Wren was been chosen as Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain. She spent time with Jerrett McGreggor and continue to remain friends with Darren Smythe, then the Slytherin Quidditch captain, but mostly she focused on her devotion to the Quidditch team, and her hard work paid off when Hufflepuff won the Hogwarts Quidditch Cup for the first time in years.

Now that she's a 6th year, Wren has once again turned her attentions to the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and she works the team hard. She's also taken to Wizarding Law as a N.E.W.T.s class and is considering a career in law, though she's not to specific quite yet beyond that.
